Travel with Me
Hi Friends and Family,
School is about to let out for my kiddos, and summer is brimming! Are you traveling or having a staycation? My little family of four is staying local, visiting family in June and then a lake in the mountains nearby mid-summer. Excited for some sunshine, laughter, and lots of fun memories to be made!
Since travel is on the horizon for many, I thought it’d be fun to share where my next story in the Scottish Stars Series—BENEATH THE STARLIGHT—is set and where it will take you, my wonderful reader.
In this slow burn, spicy, enemies-to-lovers travel romance, you’ll get to travel with Swords of Scotland’s lead actress, Eleana Evans, to majestic lochs (lakes), breathtaking mountains, historic castles, magical isles, fantastic television sets, and more. Are you ready? Let’s go!
To start the adventure, you’ll be transported back in time to the 18th century set of Swords of Scotland where a high-action scene is taking place between the highland warriors and British. You’ll even see a few favorites from books 1 and 2. What’s more, you’ll discover what Eleana’s thinking as she holds fast to those Fresian reigns, galloping across the majestic Scottish landscape and who she can’t stand… hint, hint he's the MMC. 😉
Next, you’ll stop briefly in Glasgow—a Scottish city known for its Victorian and art nouveau architecture, legacy of the city's 18th–20th-century prosperity due to trade and shipbuilding. Here, Eleana makes a personal decision that changes her future, but she can’t stay long and neither can you…her cast mate’s wedding celebration is about to begin!
From Glasgow, you’ll travel north, winding up the highway to a secret destination in Loch Lomond. Here, we’ll celebrate a very special couple’s marriage and witness Eleana agree to a bet with the rogue Scot she’s determined to loath forever.
Next, prepare to get swept away on the Isle of Mull where you’ll rejuveniate, adventure, and explore. You’ll see Puffins, swim in gorgeous turquoise water, walk amongst the wildflowers, pet Scottish ponies, and find incredible romance.
Later on your return to the mainland, you’ll visit the clan seat of Clan Macrae—Eilean Donan Castle—part of Hugh’s heritage. Isn’t it gorgeous?
You’ll also get to go on a little mini-vacation (no spoilers) to a special fishing village…
And finally, before you leave, you’ll return to Loch Lomond where love and history merge on the bonnie banks with an incredibly romantic happily ever after. This is a love story after all! ❤️
I can’t wait for you to be swept away with Eleana and Hugh in Scotland. I had so much fun researching and writing an immersive travel experience into this novel. I can’t wait to share more with you. When you read it (beta readers and ARC sign ups coming soon!), I hope you get to escape to Scotland, too.
Until next time, I send you lots of love.
